Spanish Vines Crianza, Ribera del Júcar, Spain

100% Tempranillo

Hand-harvested from 40-year-old vines. Cold Maceration: 30 days. Aging: 12 months in 100% new American oak barrels, followed by 12 months in bottle before release.
Plush, ripe red fruit and impressive structure. Aromas of freshly dipped chocolate-strawberries and tobacco are followed by a mid-palate of boysenberry, currant and spices. Finish has subtle oak and a zing of racy acidity.
Game, Red Meat, Lamb, Flavorful Hard Cheeses, Mushroom Sauces
