Indomita Reserve, Carmenere, Chile

100% Carmenere



 This wine was what Bordeaux was originally primarily made from, now its found almost exclusively in Chile. A deep carmine color, plum, chocolate and spice in the nose with sweet,nose with sweet,round but firmtanninsin the finish.

Well defined currants, blackberry, blueberry and cassis make for abundant fruit on the attack. Sturdy, complex tannins balance the acidity throughout. Notes of smoke, mocha, cedar and lots of rich oak round off the long, earthy, heady finish.

The Indomita Sauvignon Blanc shines in its pale yellow color with light green hints. The nose offers a complex, elegant aroma in a blend of citric and tropical fruits such as lime, grapefruit, pineapple and dessert pear complemented with soft floral notes and mineral touches. In the mouth it is elegant with a balanced acidity and the freshness that characterises this variety, as the citric and tropical fruits reappear with a mineral finish that delivers complexity

The Adobe Red is a proprietary Zinfandel-based blend with effusive aromas of cherry spice, blackberry and pepper, with hints of brambles and plum. Cherry/berry flavors dominate on the palate. The tannins are fine and supple, and a bit of oak character adds additional vanilla notes to the balanced finish.

The Adobe White is a proprietary blend with a golden straw color, and fragrant floral notes of orange blossom and lemon citrus. Pear, peach and honeydew melon aromas jump from the glass. There is a creamy mouthfeel imparted by sur lie aging. The zingy fruit flavors are of apple and stone fruit, with nuances of pumpkin pie spice and tea. The finish is crisp and balanced.
