Deep garnet in color, the Mr Black's Concoction Shiraz has pronounced savory aromas of smoked game, toasted nuts and espresso over warm mulberries, dried plums, fresh figs and kirsch. Crisp in the mouth with medium to firm, very finely grained tannins, this is a big, weighty, opulent wine with a good balance of savory, spice and berry flavors. It has a long, layered finish. Viognier is added as a ode to France's Rhone Region to give the fruit a "Lift."
