Civello, White Wine

Sexier than Pinot Grigio, Naughtier than a Chardonnay

California

Start with the Pinot Gris from Monterey. Spanish grape Verdhelo which we get from the warmer Clarksburg area, add a splash of the German/Alsatian grape Gewürztraminer which we get from California’s coolest counties. Occasionally we add a little Dijon clone Chardonnay from Carneros. Sometimes we even add a little Muscato Fruliano or Albarino.

Citrus, apricots then bliss...
Finish is dry!

Clayhouse Adobe White

Clayhouse Adobe White

The Adobe White is a proprietary blend with a golden straw color, and fragrant floral notes of orange blossom and lemon citrus. Pear, peach and honeydew melon aromas jump from the glass. There is a creamy mouthfeel imparted by sur lie aging. The zingy fruit flavors are of apple and stone fruit, with nuances of pumpkin pie spice and tea. The finish is crisp and balanced.
